The letters that show up most in the answers are E (67%), A (49%), I (48%), R (47%), S (47%), N (42%), with the percentage of answers containing each one in parentheses. About 67% of the answers repeat at least one letter. The most common first letters are C, S, B and the most common last letters are S, D, E. Words that test many frequent letters at once make good openers, such as NASTIER, ARSENIC, ERASING.
